I went to the movies with my Mom to see "The Lovely Bones" . I had always wanted to read the book, however, there are so many good books I would love to read and just don't seem to have the time to read them all. I thought the movie was well done. The acting was very good, with a strong cast (Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Stanley Tucci and Susan Sarandon). They tastefully did not show how she was murdered, although get to the point. It was sort of artsy, which wouldn't appeal to everybody, however I enjoyed it. It's not the sort of movie you necessarily need to see on the big screen, but definitely worth renting.
